Any Safe Storage Solutions for Small Toys or Craft Supplies? Looking into Mylar Bags (21 อ่าน)

Hi everyone,
I’m a parent of two very active kids who love collecting everything—from tiny building blocks to craft beads and puzzle pieces. Lately, our toy storage has become chaotic, and I’ve been on the lookout for something that keeps small items organized and safe from dust and moisture.
I recently came across Mylar bags as an option for storing more than just food. Most people use them for dry goods, but I saw they’re now available in custom sizes with resealable closures, which got me thinking—could these actually work for organizing small toys or even craft kits?
While browsing, I found this collection of different resealable Mylar bags:
Custom Mylar Bags
They seem sturdy and airtight, and I like that some are transparent while others are more durable for long-term storage.
Just wondering:
Has anyone tried using these for storing smaller toy parts, slime containers, crayons, or puzzle pieces?
Are they safe enough to use around younger children if sealed properly?
How do they compare to plastic bins or ziplocks in terms of space-saving and keeping things clean?
I’d love to hear if anyone else has found creative or practical storage hacks—especially ones that are lightweight and easy to travel with!
Thanks in advance
